This policy explains what [YOUR LEGAL NAME OR BUSINESS NAME] ("we") collect when you use Paid Sooner and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, business name and contact details, and a hashed (not readable) password.
• Your content: the clients, quotes and invoices you enter, including your clients' names, emails, phone numbers and addresses.
• Billing information: handled by Stripe. We store only Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan and its status. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Technical data: basic server logs (such as IP address and request time) used for security and to prevent abuse. Our rate limiter keeps IP addresses in memory briefly.

Your clients' information

For the client details you enter, you decide what to store and why; we process it on your behalf only to provide the Service (for example, showing your invoice to that client or sending them an email you ask us to send). Please only add information you are allowed to hold.

How we use information

To run your account, show your invoices, send the emails you ask for (invoices, reminders, password resets), take payments for Premium, keep the Service secure, and answer support requests. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run advertising or third-party analytics.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run Paid Sooner, under their own privacy commitments:

• Stripe for subscription payments.
• Resend (or the email provider we use) to deliver email.
• [YOUR HOSTING PROVIDER, e.g. Render] to host the Service and its database.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the Service and its users.

Cookies

We use one cookie, a secure session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is essential to the Service, so we do not show a cookie banner for it. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Public invoice links

Each quote and invoice has a long, unguessable link so you can share it with your customer. Anyone who has the link can view that document. Do not post links publicly.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete your account in Account settings, which removes your clients, quotes and invoices. Backups are overwritten on their regular schedule. We may keep limited records where the law requires (for example, payment records held by Stripe).

Security

Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and access to data is limited to your account. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your information. Email support@paidsoonerapp.com and we will respond within [30] days.

Children

Paid Sooner is for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
