Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [YOUR LEGAL NAME OR BUSINESS NAME] ("we", "us") about your use of Paid Sooner (the "Service"). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What the Service is

Paid Sooner is a tool for creating quotes and invoices, tracking what customers owe you, and sending reminders. We do not process your customers' payments, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and your customers.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. Keep your password secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Give us accurate information and tell us if you think your account has been compromised.

3. Free and Premium plans

The Free plan has usage limits shown on our pricing page. Premium is a paid subscription that renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

Free trial. New subscribers may get a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the plan price. You can cancel any time from Account > Manage billing, and you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. See our Refund Policy.

If a payment fails we may give you a short grace period, then move your account back to the Free plan. Your data stays; features and limits above the Free plan stop working.

4. Your content and responsibilities

You own the client information, quotes and invoices you enter ("Your Content"). You give us permission to store and process it only to run the Service for you. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you send to customers, and for your own tax, licensing, sales-tax and legal obligations. The Service does not give tax, accounting or legal advice, and the tax-rate field is simply a number you choose.

You must have the right to store and email the contact details of the people you add, and you must follow anti-spam and consumer-protection laws when you email them through the Service.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to send spam or deceptive or fraudulent invoices, break the law, harm or probe the Service's security, resell access, or overload the Service. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service we will try to give you notice and a chance to export your records. Please keep your own copies of important invoices (you can print or save each one as a PDF).

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account in Account settings (cancel Premium first). We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. After deletion your content is removed from our systems, except backups that expire on their normal schedule and anything we must keep by law.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes will be handled in the courts of [YOUR COUNTY], Texas, unless local consumer law says otherwise. Contact us at support@paidsoonerapp.com.
